Ella the Super Agent - The Stolen Crystal

I'm Ella Cooper, and I'm 15. I look pretty normal, I'm normal height for my age and I go to a normal school. but no way am I normal. I'm a secret agent! Read my story about Mademoiselle Sophia Capri's stolen crystal...


Chapter 1.

I ran from my house all the way to H.Q. As soon as I got to the building, which was an old abandoned New York factory, and I entered the code to open it.
“There you are. I was thinking you weren't coming.” Becky, my boss, said.
“Yes, I'm here. OK, what's this about?” I asked.
“Someone has stolen Mademoiselle Sophia Capri's prize possession, her crystal. I want you to go and find the crystal and the thief.” Becky explained.
“Got it, who am I going with?” I asked.
“Megan.” She told me.
“OK, Gadgets?” I asked.
“A walkie-talkie watch each, one gem detector and five hidden cameras each. I want you to go to Lola now, she'll tell you what to wear.” she instructed. I nodded and went over to Lola (the disguise girl).
“You'll be wearing your black stealth outfits under ball gowns, Becky didn't tell you that Sophia is holding a party tonight and you and Megan are going.” Lola told me. I nodded again and gathered up the clothes. Walking to the dressing room, I spotted Megan dressed in her clothes with the invitations in her hand.

Chapter 2.

Ding dong! Went the doorbell. Me and Megan had our equipment and we were at Sophia's house- no, I mean her mansion.
The butler answered the door and ushered us into the ballroom. It was huge! There were two gold chandeliers and a massive table full of delicious food! I wasn't surprised though, Sophia was filthy rich. As soon as I and Megan were in the middle of the ballroom, I mouthed to Megan to start looking around and setting up hidden cameras. She nodded and disappeared into the ballroom. I went into the hallway and started putting hidden cameras on the walls. Suddenly, Sophia walked in.
“Agent E? Oh, zank goodness you are ere. My prize possession, my crystal, Stolen!” Sophia cried.
“We’re here, don't worry. Now tell me from the beginning.” I said, soothingly.
“Well, I was sitting in zee lounge when I remembered I had left my reading glasses in zee bedroom. I went up to get zem and when I got up ere, I remembered to go check on zee crystal. I went to see it, gone.” Mademoiselle said.
“OK, now I will go investigate, you go back to the party.” I told Sophia, she nodded and ran off.

Chapter 3.

I looked around the mansion a bit. Everything seemed normal. I decided to go and see how Megan was getting on. But on my way, I spotted someone snooping in Sophia's dining room. I went in. I looked around, but no one was in the room. It must have been my imangination. But suddenly, I heard a slam and a key turning and I had a feeling I wasn't the only person in the room...

“Who's there? Come out now!! I am part of the GSS!!” I panicked.
“I know, Miss Ella Cooper.” The person turned on the light and I saw clearly who they were...
“Emily? What are you doing here? Are you a friend of Sofia..?” I asked, recognising my sister.
“No. Who on earth is Sofia?” Emily asked.
“She owns this masion....wait, if your not here for the party...then why are you here? And why are you dresseda black stealth outfit?” I asked.
Emily smiled an evil smile. The lights flickered and suddenly, we were in pure blackness. The door creaked open, and then slammed tight.
“Emily?” I called. But no answer. She had gone. I ran over to the door and switched on the light. I turned the door handle, it didn't budge. I tried again. No movement from the door. My own sister had locked me in a room.

Chapter 4.

I thought hard about what to do. After a few minutes of thinking I decided to kick the door open, My plan failed, and thats when I spotted the open window. As I climbed through the window, I spotted Emily in the garden looking around for something. Now, I don't mean to brag but I'm supposed to be one of Becky's best agents, and what do I go and do? Well, I'm trying to creep up to Emily and SNAP!, I step on an old dry twig and Emily turns around and see's me.
“You'll never stop me Ella, no-one will!!” Emily evilly chuckled. She picked up a small rock and threw it at me. It head my head and I fell to the floor and everything went black.

I woke up later in the HQ with Abi, the GSS nurse, by my side.
“What happened?” I weakly asked.
“We don't know, but Megan found you unconcious in Sophia's garden.” Becky explained.
“Oh.” I said. There was a pause. Then Becky said,
“Do you remember anything?”
“All I remember is a laugh, a rock rocketing towards me, then nothing.” I replied. Becky nodded slowly.
“Excuse me, but Ella should rest.” Abi said.
“Of course.” Becky said. Then she left.

Chapter 5.

“Get some sleep Ella.” Abi said. She left the room. I jumped out the bed and thought about everything. I felt the bump on my head. It was huge. And it hurt. No wonder I couldn't remember anything. I tried to remember then what had happened. A laugh, a rock, black. Hmmm. Then it  struck me! ( Emily laughed, then threw the rock that knocked me out!! And at this very moment Emily was probably somewhere hiding the crystal somewhere! I had to stop her. I ran over to the door and kicked it open. (And it did work this time!)
I crept out of HQ. No-one saw or heard me. I rode on my bike to Sophia's mansion. I crept round to the back and saw Emily jump down a hole. I ran over and jumped too. Before I knew it, I was falling in darkness, with not the slightest idea where I was.
After what seemed like forever, I found the floor, painfully. I got up, checked for broken bones, and ran along the passage way, looking for Emily. I found her by a stone wall.
“I knew you'd follow me, you just don't know when to quit do you?” Emily said. She opened her bag and pulled out...the crystal.
“So it was you!!” I gasped.
“Yes it was, now you know. So go away like a good girl and let me hide this thing.” Emily commanded.
“No. I can stop you and I will.” I took a step closer to Emily.
“I'm not scared of you Ella.” Emily said and she pulled a big lever. A door opened in the wall and Emily ran through. I followed. Emily turned around quickly, not looking happy.
“Ella, I'll be ready for you, so watch out!!” Emily then pulled another lever and immediately I started falling in darkness.


Chapter 6.

Eventually there was a bump and I had found the floor, again. Then I saw Emily's head over the trap door.
“I told you to watch out. Now I can go and hide the crystal without you bothering me. Bye!!” Emily quickly ran off. I kept trying to jump up out of the pit. But as the pit was quite deep, I could not jump out of it. Suddenly I spotted a ladder.
“Ella, why didn't you see that before?” I asked myself. I walked over to the ladder and started climbing it. Soon I was at the top. Yay! I saw Emily running through a door. I quickly followed.
“STOP RIGHT THERE!!” I yelled. Emily paused.
“Ugh, what now?” She asked.
“Where is the crystal?” I asked.
“None of your bisness.” Emily said. She ran through the door. But before I could follow, the door slammed shut and it wouldn't open. I decided that it was time to return to HQ and report my findings to Becky.

“Ella, where on earth were you!? We were worried sick. Although, I should've known you'd run off like that, oh dear, you and your mystery radar.” Becky said.
“But Becky, I found out what happened to me, and who stole the crystal!!” I explained.
“Really? Who!? Wait, lets get Megan here aswell...”

Five minutes later, me, Megan and Becky were sitting at the HQ table which was in the middle of the main room.
“OK, who is it then?” Megan eagerly asked.
“Emily.” I answered.
“Who?” Becky asked me.
“My sister.” I said.
“Your sister stole Sophia's crystal!!?” Megan asked, surprised.
“Yes, I couldn't believe it either, but she even told me she had to hide it.” I explained.
“Oh my gosh.” Megan said.
“I know, but oh well, we have to stop her!!” I said.
“We know that, but how? She sounds pretty strong.” Becky said.
“She is, when we were little we used to play wrestling and she would always beat me.” I explained.
“We need a plan.” Said Megan. We all started thinking.



Chapter 7.

“I've got it!!” I shouted suddenly.
“Got what Ella?” Becky asked.
“The plan to catch Emily.” I said.
“Um, Ella, you know your plans never work, how about you let me and Becky think of one instead?”Megan said doubtful of me.
“Just hear me out!” I said.
“OK then, what is it?” Becky asked.
“OK then, well, Emily's really devious but any trick would work on her. When we little I would put a rubber snake in her bed and she would scream the roof off our house!  We need to get her into thinking we have given up. Then, she will not be expecting anything and we can catch her.” I explained.
“Thats a good plan, shall we go then. Ella you will go into the place where Emily is and try and get her into thinking she wins, we'll wait outside and wait for you to come back to us.” Becky said.
“Got it.” Megan agreed.
“Guys, do you realize Emily has probably already hidden the crystal?” I suddenly realized. There was a pause.
Suddenly, Becky jumped up and ran outside. Me and Megan srugged. But Becky ran back in.
“Don't just sit there, we have a  theif to catch!” She shouted. We all ran outside, jumped on our motercycles and rode off.



Chapter 8.

Emily was just leaving when we got to the mansion. Becky and Megan hid out front and I went in. Emily was climbing out the secret passage.
“OK, I give in. You win.” I said.
“What are you talking about?” Emily asked.
“In fact, I want to help you.” I lied.
“What?” Emily was confused.
“I want to help you with Sophia's crystal.” I explained.
“Oh. Why?” Emily asked.
“Being in the GSS is boring. I mean, chasing down baddies, its much more fun being the baddie.” I smiled evilly.
“Well then, your in. Listen, meet me at my house tomorrow. I want to plan to steal more things.” Emily instructed.
“And listen to me. Your under arrest. Becky!” I shouted. She, Megan, and two policemen came into the passage.
“What, who are they?” Emily asked.
“From the GSS, Emily, meet my boss, Becky, and partner, Megan. These two,” I said gesturing the policeman, “are from the FBI.” Emily's mouth dropped.
“Am I being arrested? Please say I'm not being arrested.” Emily asked.
“I would, but I'd be lying.” I smiled.
“Thank you Ella, for once again, saving the day.” The first policeman thanked.
“My pleasure.” I smiled.
“Now, Emily, could you very kindly show us the crystal?” The second police asked.
“Whatever.” Emily mumbled.
“You lot, we can take it from here, go and tell Sophia the good news.” The second policeman instructed. Becky gestured me and Megan to go tell Sophia and we ran off.



Chapter 9.

“Really, oh that is brilliant!” Sophia excalimed when we told her the news.
“Yep, Emily's showing them where it is right now.” Megan explained.
“Thank you so much both of you. I completely owe you two. Tell you what, I'm going to a party this weekend. It's in a secret location, there will be tons of celebrities and people who have luckily been invited by them. How would you girls like to come?” Sophia offered. Megan looked like she was going to faint.
“You betcha!!!” I answered excitedly.
“Great, my limo will pick you up from your H.Q. Saturday at 7:00pm. See you then.” Sophia smiled. She gestured us out her house.
“AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!” Me and Megan screamed when we were outside.
“I wonder what celebrities will be there.” I wondered after I had calmed down.
“Me too.” Megan thought, “oooh, maybe Melinda Moriarty!”
“I guess we'll find out on Saturday.” I said.
                      



Chapter 10.

Megan and I were all set on Saturday night, me in a  short midnight blue dress and Megan in a long red evening gown. Lola had even styled my hair by straightening it and adding silver glitter. She had styled Megan's by curling it. We both looked great when the limo arrived.
“Miss Ella and Megan?” The limo driver requested.
“Thats me and her.” Megan answered as we got into the limo. Then we were off to the secret location. I was so excited, wondering what celebrities we'd meet and live the whole fame life! Soon, we got to a building that was shining with lights and camera flashes. There was a red carpet and velvet ropes all around it. The place was infested with papparazzi who were totally ignoring the gaurds shooing them away. Megan and me looked at eachother and sqeauled. The limo driver opened the door and we got out. The cameras started flashing again as me and Megan walked down the red carpet and into the party. Sophia spotted us immediately.
“Megan, Ella, hello. How was your journey? You both look great too.” Sophia said.
“Thanks.” Megan replied.
“Our journey was brilliant. Glamerous and brilliant.” I explained.
“Good, good. Well, enjoy the party and thank you once again for helping me. If it weren't for you, that horrible Emily would have gotten away and my crystal would've been lost. See you later.” Sophia said and she ran off. I turned to face Megan.
“Well, Megan, I don't mean to brag, but we rock!”

The Creatures Under The Carpet

We love our carpet, we do everything on it. My younger brother, Josh, plays with his lego, I read my books and my little sister, Jess, plays with her dolls.

When we play on our carpet we are always happy.

“Lucy's It for Hide and Seek!” Jess shouted.

“Lucy, count to one million.” Josh instructed as he and Jess ran off to hide. I closed my eyes and counted, but only to thirty.

“Twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty! Coming, ready or not!” I shouted. I ran into the dining room. Nothing. I tried the kitchen. No one. Living room. There was Josh, looking like he had seen a ghost.

“Found you!” I said.

“L...L...Lucy, there was something under the c...c....carpet. I saw it m...m....moving.” Josh stuttered.

“Don't make things up like that Josh, now help me find Jess.” I said.

“Lucy it's true! The carpet was moving!!” Josh convinced.

I sighed. “OK then, I'll lift up the carpet to see whats there.” I told Josh.

“Fine.” Josh said. So I cautiously walked towards th carpet and slowly and gently I lifted it up. Nothing was there.

“See Josh, it was all your imagination.” I told him.

“But I did see the carpet moving!” Josh convinced.

“There's nothing there though.” I said, I looked at the carpet. Suddenly, a little brown creature thing of some sort crawled out from under the carpet. I was shocked.

“Get me a jar.” I told Josh. He did as I said. I opened the lid of the jar and quietly tip-toed over to the creature. When it wasn't looking, I put the jar on it and screwed the lid on. I took it outside and unscrewed the lid on the jar, and the creature crawled out into the hedge.

“I'm glad its gone. Oh, we still need to find Jess!”  Josh reminded me. I nodded and we ran back into the house.

The Stolen Crystal - Part 2

The hooded figure had disappeared, my determination hadn't. I crept down the dark corridor, floorboards creeking as I took each step. Soon, the corridor came to an end. “Darn!” I thought, “but, how did he get through here?” I shivered. Could it...no...but...maybe, was the figure a ghost? “No, thats impossible,” I reassured myself, “ghosts don't exist. There's a logical reason for this, I just need to think.” And I did, for a while. As I did, I leant against one of the walls. Before I knew it, I was falling in darkness, with not the slightest idea where I was.

I should've known. Ghosts don't exist! It was a secret passage! Old mansions like that one always have a secret passage-way. Why hadn't I'd known that? I scolded myself. I suddenly was on the floor. I spotted the figure with something in his hand. “Hmm,” I thought. I got up and started following the figure. In moments I was so close to him, I could almost reach him. But it was better just to step away, a lot away, incase he was the thief. My karate skills weren't bad, but I still needed practice.

I took 10 steps back. The figure paused for a second. He entered a code on a pannel and a door opened. He went in. I went in. The room was filled with money and jewels. This was obviously the thief! I quickly hid behind a huge pile of coins and the thief pulled out a sack from his pocket (several sacks actually, about 3, that pocket must have been huge). The thief hadn't yet took off his hood but I was determined to find out who it was. I stepped out from behind the coin pile and said, “stop right there.” I pulled out my badge. The figure turned around and the hood fell from their head, they had a shocked expression on their face and it wasn't a man it was...Megan?!

An Acrostic Poem

Story writing is fun,
Telling them to people, making the whole thing up,
Open the book or tell it in your mind,
Running away from monsters, capturing an island,
Is yours fiction or non-fiction?
Everyone loves hearing a good story,

My imaginary world. (a poem)

A sparkling sun shines over the city,
Peculiar cars hover over the surface,
Steal silver robots stomp around in the darkness,
Exploding volcanoes shoot out scarlet lava and dark rocks,
Mystical mountains glimmer in the landscape.

Journey to Choco Universe

Feeling bored, I sat in my classroom. Mrs Walsh, my teacher, was going on and on about division. All I was doing was looking around the classroom. It was filled the pictures, posters on notice boards, books and tons of other stuff. There was also seven desks which three or four children sat at.

“Caroline, go get the math books.” Mrs Walsh instructed.  I did as she asked and went into her cupboard.

Now the cupboard had a million shelves that held books, pieces of paper and models.

Suddenly, the trap door on the roof opened and a ladder came out.

“I don't think anyone will mind if I take a peek up here.” I thought as I climbed up the ladder. In it, there was a small room in which a tree stood. I gasped, staring at it. It had a leaf in every color of the rainbow! Since red was my favorite color, I took the red leaf off. I then shrank as petite as the leaf. The leaf revealed to have a small handle, I put my hand on it and it opened. To my surprise, it revealed a world of sweets.  The world was as colorful as a rainbow! I stepped into the world and everybody froze. I looked around and saw a big building with lollipops on and a small sign saying: We Live Here. I saw some mountains made of brownies which had icing sugar on top. There was also a small chocolate lake. The palm trees around the lake had green circles all over them.

“Welcome to Choco Universe,” whispered a voice. I turned around and saw a girl with long, long ebony hair. She had bright blue eyes and fair skin. She was wearing a pink shirt and pink ballet shoes with jeans.

“My names Lauren,” she said.

“Hi, I'm Caroline,” I responded, frightened.  Lauren handed me a green circle.

“Here. Have a time circle,” she said, smiling. Smiling back, I took the circle and put it in my mouth. I swallowed it. It tasted like jelly!

“Thanks,” I said looking at the floor where the door was. Before Lauren could say anything more, I had gone back into the cupboard and was getting math books. When it was playtime, I tried to tell my friend Ella about the world.

“It was probably just a dream,” she told me, walking out the door. Since everyone was out on the playground, I went into the cupboard. I tugged on the string on the trap door. Nothing happened. I was puzzled. I tugged again, nothing. “Hmm,” I thought, “maybe it was a dream after all.”

JEC world

On a warm midsummers evening, I was watching a cartoon program. Feeling tired, I turned the TV off.

Suddenly everything went dark and a giant hole as black as ebony appeared in the middle of the floor. Shocked, I found myself being sucked up by the hole! It felt like I was being frozen!

As I fell down a dark tube, I felt scared and I thought about where I might land. After what seemed like forever, I arrived with a thump on a cold, diamond floor.

“Where am I?” I cried, hoping someone would hear me.

“You are in JEC world.” A voice answered. I turned around to see a strange blob creature as green as grass.

“Who are you? Whats JEC world?” I asked, confused.

“JEC world is a cartoon universe, like the one you saw on TV, and I am a blob, one of the many strange creatures of JEC.” The blob explained.

“Can you help me get home?” I asked.

“Only if you help me and the JEC king and queen first.” The blob said.

“How?” I asked.

“Go to Gem City and get the key to the Puffle Palace. Then come back and give the key to the JEC queen.” The blob said.

“OK. Is Gem City that way?” I asked, pointing to a golden path. The blob nodded.

I said goodbye to the blob and started strolling along the gold path. As I got to the end of the path, I saw a glimmer of colors in the distance.

“That must be Gem City!” I yelled happily. I started running towards it. Soon, I got to a golden gate.

“Why are you here?” A voice asked.

“I am here to get the key to the Puffle Palace so I can go home.” I answered boldly.

“Well, in that case...” The golden gate opened and I walked in. Everything thing in Gem City was made of gems and it was so beautiful. Looking around, I saw in the corner of my eye a crystal palace before me. There was also three keys, a ruby key, an amethyst key and an emerald key. I remembered that the Puffle Palace was pink and green, so I eliminated the ruby key from my decision. I also remembered that the JEC king was green so I picked the emerald key. As I walked back I prayed that I had the right key. Soon I arrived back at JEC.

“Well done, the emerald key is correct,” the blob smiled.

The JEC queen came up to me and asked, “may I have the key?”

“Of course your highness.” I responded, giving her the key.  The queen held it up to a rainbow in the sky. Gold sparkles fell on the palace.  The gold puffle was renewed and the ebony hole appeared again.

“Thank you,” said the queen as I got sucked up again. I bowed my head and soon I was traveling through the tube again.

Suddenly I found myself home on the floor. I also saw a small green key in my hand. “Wow, what an adventure,” I said, smiling at the petite key.

The Stolen Crystal - Part 1

“There you are. I was thinking you weren't coming.” G, my boss, said.

“Yes, I'm here. OK, what's this about?” I asked.

“Someone has stolen Mademoiselle Sophia Capri's prize possession, her crystal. I want you to go and find the crystal and the thief.” G explained.
