This is a blog run by Caroline's father. (and Caroline since 2012) I was so impressed by some of her stories that I decided to set up a blog and publish them. It seemed to me that stories written by a 12 yr old girl (August 2012) may be interesting as a form of art - stories by a 12 yr old in a 12 yr old's language. The only thing I'll edit are typos and obvious spelling mistakes. I'll also publish any good comments. Any contact can be via me at baron(dot)turner(at)gmail(dot)com

New Haircut
She was a girl of twelve, with eyes glittering like the deep blue ocean. Her personality shone as bright as the Sun. Her best quality was her waist –long golden blonde hair, though. She was like Repunzal. When she walked anywhere, anyone would stare at her, as if she was a Greek goddess. When it rained, she still glimmered. But all of a sudden, she had her hair cut. She was ruined. She no longer stood out from other girls. She no longer was the apple of everyone’s eye. She was as dull as a brick wall, with nothing exciting or special about her anymore. It was as if the Sun inside her had set, and wouldn’t be coming back for a while. Her new hair cut was horrendous, and nothing about her was wonderful or fascinating anymore.
